Brian Nelson, principal and founder, is a seasoned investor, business owner and legal professional with over 25 years experience uncovering value, structuring deals and adding value to assets.
He is co-founder and managing partner of private investment firms that acquire, improve and manage millions of SF of innovative mixed use, industrial, office and residential projects in the Southeast. He also is active in innovative higher education software ventures.
Previously, as partner and in-house counsel, Brian led the expansion and sale transactions of two enterprise software companies to private equity and strategic buyers. He had key leadership roles in the commercialization of proprietary solutions, acquisitions, and talent development.
As an attorney, including in AMLaw 100 firms, Brian focused on corporate, venture capital and intellectual property commercialization, in diverse industries.
Victoria Mair Nelson Lymphedema Training Fund
Recently launched, the Victoria Mair Nelson Lymphedema Training Fund is a multi-year commitment for lymphedema training between the University Miami Miller School of Medicine-Dept. of Physical Therapy and UM Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Brian is a long-time supporter of JAFCO for children and families, and serves on the JAFCO Children’s Village Annual Poker Fundraiser Steering Committee. He is a member and supporter of Men Giving Back, providing annual grants to NFP’s.
Brian serves on the Board of Directors of Holy Cross Hospital, FL (Trinity Health).
